The current version is an alpha release, expect all problems you can think of.The installer itself is nearly finished, it can install something on some Unices (Solaris,Linux) but support for other important Systems is still missing (Windows,Mac).
Installation
Um die selbst extrahierende Java-Klasse zu installieren, wechseln Sie in das Verszeichnis, in dem Sie die Datei "Install.class" abgelegt haben, und rufen den Java Interpreter mit dieser Klasse auf :
java Install
Dies funktioniert zur Zeit allerdings nur mit Linux und Solaris.
Um das "zip" oder zu installieren, entpacken Sie die Software wie üblich und schauen Sie dann in der Datei "doc/README" wie es weitergeht.
Installation
To Install the self extracting Java class, go to the directory where you put the file "Install.class" and type
java Install
At the moment, this will work only on Linux and Solaris.
To install the zip or tar archive, unpack the distribution as usual and see the file "docs/README" in the installation directory.

You will find a list of changes since 0.2.1 here All files include binaries and sources. Please try the "Install.class" first, it is easier to install the sofware this way. Do not download "Install.class", if you do not use Solaris or Linux.
